Thomas J. Bissell is of counsel with Block Markus & Williams LLC and has specialized in creditors rights and commercial litigation since 1978.  

Prior to joining Block Markus & Williams LLC, Tom was Senior Corporate Counsel with U.S. Bank, where he litigated and managed the litigation of various cases through the Midwest and Rocky Mountain states.  He also negotiated, documented, and conducted workouts on various commercial leases and loans.  Before joining U.S. Bank, Tom was a litigation associate at a law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  

Tom is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Financial Institutions Subsection of the Colorado Bar Association, the Bankruptcy Subsection of the Denver Bar Association, and the Turnaround Management Association.  

Tom received his B.A. degree in 1975 from the University of South Dakota and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1978.  He is admitted to the Colorado and Minnesota State Bars.
